On first hearing the lead single from BMSR’s Eating Us, we noted it paired “that familiar vocoder spillage with hazy lush, stardusted instrumentation, and bouncy ’60s drum beats.” The track also came with a press photo involving at least one machete, which now plays like a tease for this rather memorable video. The clip comes with this description:

Directed by Team Tobaxxxo, the video captures a day in the life of a besuited fellow whose big thrills in life are practicing good dental hygiene and toasting hot dogs.

With a big day ahead, he’s recruited the friendly girls from next door to give him a hand. Lucky for him, the girls know just what it takes to put smile on a man’s face.

Smile!

Eating Us is out via Graveface. Check out its other MP3, “Twin Of Myself” (and the Go! Team remix).

  1. Wow. Youtube still. Maybe I won’t watch this after all.

  2. Love it.

  3. great track and the video works well for the song.

  4. Great video and video even if it makes me think of the whole Meredtih Kercher murder somehow. Those girls’ freaky smiles remind me of the press photos of Amanda Knox.

The drums sound so much like Steven Drozd’s on Yoshimi for some reason.
