Following an entertaining video interview with Joe and I’m Going Away‘s piano-woven sing-along “The End Is Near,” the Fiery Furnaces have put together an artsy Phillip Niemeyer-directed clip for “Charmaine Champagne.” (Thanks for the tip, Matt.) Eleanor and Matt (not our tipster) show up sans Jason Loewenstein to nod along and shake a leg — and their words direct the flow — but the animated world’s the work of Blueberry Boat book illustrator Mike Reddy with Action Painting interludes via Hannah Cole. Ba, ba, ba, ba, etc.
