Dutch DJ Tiësto’s fourth studio album Kaleidoscope comes with a variety of collaborative vocal guests spots including Jónsi of Sigur Rós, Kele of Bloc Party, Nelly Furtado, Calvin Harris, Emily Haines, and Tegan & Sara. He explains the logjam:

The starting point was to work with different artists that I liked. It was as simple as that. Sigur Rós make beautiful music. Bloc Party are fantastic and exciting and innovative. But the hardest thing initially was to get those kind of people to collaborate. They don’t work with dance artists as a rule, and especially not a dance DJ, but when we started producing these tracks, I was surprised at how well the styles work together.

The first collaboration took place a year ago or so with T&S. If you recall, he remixed their “Back In Your Head.” This time time they feel someone deep in their bones. As far as the he said/she said, he gave them a track, they wrote lyrics and vocal lines for it, he finished it up in his Holland studio. The artists are pretty stoked about the results. As Sara puts it:

Tegan and I would happily disband if Tiësto let us tour the world with him. I’d take dance lessons and would be open to discussions about wearing “outfits” on stage. We’re proud of the collaboration and can’t wait for people to hear the song!

Per her request, take a listen to “Feel It In My Bones.”

The man himself.

This is after the fact, ok, but here’s T&S announcing this debut from an undisclosed shower stall:

Kaleidoscope‘s tracklist:

I love it! Great collaboration, amazing song. Can’t wait for Sainthood and Kaleidoscope!

  2. LOVE THIS! I am going to listen to it over and over and over and over again. Its so catchy!

  3. DJ Tiesto on stereogum? Just because he makes a collaboration with two lesbian twins who are more famous cos of their looks and sexuality than their music? Sad.

    • WTF indeed are you talking about? They are respected because they are grassroots artists… they built their career themselves and they have been growing it naturally and progressively over the past decade! Their music has nothing to do with their sexuality or looks (although one song I was married is about marriage inequality, so technically) as a fan their music is what i love the most. What makes me a fan of them as people is the fact that they stand up for who they are and don’t hide which creates progress in our society. How many artists can say they do that? On top of all this yes they are ridiculously funny and good looking.. just a bonus though. ha. What your doing is in fact the very thing you’re complaining about and perpetuating the pigeon hole that the media regularly (but less and less now) puts them in. You should maybe listen to them before you pass judgment and just pass them off as some gimmick. They are some of the most real and honest artists out there.

thanks Xan. i didn’t feel like argueing and saying all of that. he made me mad, lol. you speak well.

      • Rita Santos  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Well said Xan! I totaly agree with you!

      • Heather  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

way to tell that dumbass off!! pretty sure tiesto wouldve been on here if he didnt collaborate w/ t&s. i hope they feel like a pile of shit after what you told them. nicely done =)

    • Betti  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

wow…looks like a major case of envy to me here

i like the song, very catchy indeed

    • katie  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Considering your grammer, your in no position to put them down….
They are talented and if that statement that you made is true, then we should just kill off everyone in society who focuses on little things like that because their music is amazing…

      • Are you being ironic or moronic? Picking on grammar isn’t ‘focusing on little things’ to you? Furthermore, if he’s the kettle then you’re the pot; to rephrase that, people in glass houses shouldn’t use bad grammar.

      • nooneknows  |   Posted on Aug 20th, 2009

        hahahaha, you spelled grammar wrong.

    • WOW…you are so wrong. There’s an army of T&S fans ready to pounce on anyone who misjudges them…just sayin’

    • Julia S.  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Tegan and Sara aren’t even famous, they just have a very strong fan base. One that doesn’t love them because of their looks or their lifestyles, but their music. Although, they are hilarious, witty, and charming, their music is what it’s all about.

    • If anything, Tiesto is more famous. Idiot.

    • That’s the reason why they are famous for YOU, loser. For other people they are famous cause we love their music. And the only sad thing here is YOU.

    • John Stamos  |   Posted on Aug 25th, 2009

Wow. SOMEBODY is kind of a douche.

And if you think Tegan and Sara got were they are because of gimmicks and looks, you have no idea what you are talking about. And that’s fine for you, but no need to let the world know. Tegan and Sara Quin are two highly respectable and talented musicians living in a world where talent and respectability are of little consequence to the masses – - which include many, many douchebags such as yourself.

And, hey, if nothing else, DJ Tiesto has relatively good taste in music, hey.

      A-ight?

  4. Not outstanding, very Tiesto. I do like Sara’s voice she should quit Tegan and Sara and make European disco songs.

    • james  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Agreed. Tiesto is a joke these chicks should hook up with an electro deejay if they want to branch out into beats.
      Bad techno is just… bad.

      • Lusiany I  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

        You mean trance ?!

        • Kind of agree. It’s a great track, but I don’t know if I’d like it as much if it didn’t have some Tegan and Sara on there. They really should do a collab with an Electro DJ… but my boyfriend would love this. Why do older gay dudes love Trance? :p jokes

  5. Hannah  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

I need to have this song….like real bad 0_o

  6. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I’ve been waiting for this!!!

    IT’S AWESOME.
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. i freakin’ love it….amazing job.

  8. Ahhhh, Tegan & Sara are still just …. so … good.

  9. joe b  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    to wtf:

ummm get a clue. they’re not even that famous. and they barely talk about their sexuality. dumbass.

  10. Rhiannan  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

YEAH. i love this. so much.

  11. Tiesto is a great entry point for a lot of new dance music fans, as he’s the most marketable and -ed DJ in the world, (another being David Guetta and his Black Eyed Peas productions,) but his music/style isn’t the most respected in the industry.

But hey, if this spawns more collaborations with dance music producers, which are some of the most innovative in the industry, then I’m all for it!!

  12. Vanessa  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

This sounds great, I personally prefer it over the Back In Your Head Remix. Sara’s voice blends so well with the melodies, and Tegan’s voice gives the song a vibrant but calming effect. I love Tegan and Sara and they did an amazing job in providing lyrics. :)

  13. andeh  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    amazing :D

  14. Andrea  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Sara’s voice is soo sexy! MMmmmMmMmm…..

Tegan and Sara should do more electro/electronica!! i suppose because electro/electronica is my personal favorite genre. ;) But i love it! girls do more of this in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please!

  15. JJJF  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

I like the song and especially the lyrics. I’m excited for the new albums from both artists. Solid background music with awesome vocals and lyrics = I could totally dance to this or just listen to it while sitting. Multi-purpose song. :P

  16. Christina  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

I don’t understand how it’s so amazing! Love it.

  17. Melinda  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Incredible!! already listened to it twice. T&S both sound AMAZING. can’t wait to get this song!

  18. on repeat!!!!!

  19. I am loving the new mixes of Tiesto. And Tegan and Sara kick too much ass NOT to have on this album. Cannot wait to listen to the full-length! And, for that matter, Tegan and Sara’s new album in October :}

  20. Okay, so I have to admit that when I heard T&S were going to be on Tiesto’s new album I was a bit skeptical to say the least because I don’t like the BIYH remix. After listening to this song, I can honestly say I’m very surprisingly impressed. I love it, but then again with Tegan and Sara having written the lyrics, it make sense. I love the way that Sara’s voice blends with the melody and Tegan’s backing vocals are amazing. I’m for sure buying this song when it’s officially released.

  21. This is really good! Tiesto looks so silly

  22. elllo  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    finally a L.A. tour date..

  23. markus  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    I like the song…
does anybody know more about the project? Especially Track 01 – is it Jónsi of Sigur Ros?

  24. ruffianangelina  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

woooooooooooow i absolutely love it. Sara’s voice is just the most amazingly original sound my ears have ever has the pleasure to process (not to mention, she is also easy on the eyes). :D I don’t mean to sound trite, but she definitely grabs and holds my undivided attention not only with her musical ability ,but with her intellect and personality.

  25. Jenny  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Yep me like this very much!!

  26. Yes I too was not sure what we’d be getting here since I havent been able to get myself into the BIYH remix, but this song? It’s great!

  27. muhib  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    i love it

  28. Divine! Beautiful! Goddesses Tegan & Sara! I can’t wait for Santiago 2 hear Sainthood! I can’t wait til the Cosmos cross our Paths! :) Overjoyed -Santiago

  29. Lucia  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

This would’ve been better without the Tiesto.

  30. Amazing job! I absolutely love it. I can’t stop listening. :) I’m a definite buyer. T&S. <3

  31. the melody is amazing. sara’s voice, phenomenal! tegan’s backing, amazing. of course tegan and sara wrote the lyrics. it’s just an all around really great song. i’m not surprised..but i am so happy! bring on SAINTHOOD!!

  32. Taylor  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

you can never get tired of this song, great work.

  33. annnnna  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

i have to admit that i like the song!i didn’t like the remix of BIYH so i was a bit sceptical, but this song is definitely a winner!!Sara’s voice is amazing and the part around 2:58 with Tegan’s vocals getting louder…just great!!amazing work from the Ladies and Tiesto!!!

  34. Jason  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Fantastic collaboration. Finally some love with the comments on this site.

  35. LivingInPink  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

This is sooooooo good. Sara’s voice is just spot on, the way it sort of fades out is just mind numbing. I LOVE it!

  36. jennnnnnn  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    ohmygod, I LOVE IT.

  37. brayns  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Tegan and Sara just kicked a hole in their cred by teaming up with the least respected DJ in the world. Their voices sound great but the music is brutal.

  38. This song is amazing. I can’t stop listening to it…

  39. Brittney  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

AMAZINGGG… i knew it would be, anything with tegan and sara in it is just aslways amazing (: but wow i was not really for this…ITS GREAT.
Saras voice sounds great here, shes dead on…and tegans backup wow. thats all i have to say.<3

  40. nicolle  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

this is an awsum song very catchy listened to it 4 times already in the last half hour! woke my housemates! :)

  41. City of Mud  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

T&S are alright in my book, but I long for the day when idiots will stop fawning over soulless, ennui-inducing, navel-gazing electronic garbage. To the individual who claims that Stereogum only posted this because Tegan and Sara are lesbians– it is probably much more the case that most North Americans who care about Tiesto only do so out of vacuous Europhilia. Notwithstanding the song’s heterosexism, the Dead Milkmen’s “You’ll Dance to Anything” still hits the nail on the head.

  42. It’s been 3 hours and still listening. :]

  43. quiksilver4e  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

such a fucking bullshit.. total disaster blaaaa.. DISGUSTED!!!

  44. I’m supposed to be sleeping right now but I just can’t go to bed because I keep repeating this song. This is amazing.

  45. reinerdog  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

ugh. I can’t believe this. This is the equivalent of Arcade Fire doing a collaboration with Ace of Base.

  46. sarah   |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

this is amazing :) !! ive been listening to it over and over again. it’s so glad to hear something new from Tegan and Sara! love it!

  47. haha woah crazy good

  48. betty  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

ugh. sara’s voice makes me melt. love the song!

  49. I have never left a comment for anything in the span of my internet life but this song is worthy of putting my first words out there. This song is the cats ass, for lack of a better vocabulary. Tegan and Sara are so talented and oh so beautiful. Props ladies, you are magnificant.

  50. haha woah crazy good

  51. FYI, Tsongas Arena is in Lowell, MA — almost an hour outside of Boston.

  52. 61 Comment for this crap? They are lesbians you hipsters, stop drooling all over them.

  53. SARAVIA  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

FEEL IT IN BONES IS RAD! T&S ARE SO AMAZING. I CANT WAIT TO HEAR SAINTHOOD

  54. utis  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

crazy good haha yea right.. crazy predictable and unoriginal is more like it.

  55. Wow. Sarah voice lends quite well to this genre. Tegan sounds great as background too. I’ll be bobbing my head to this for the rest of the day fo sho!

  56. Love this song! Sara does a great job and her voice goes amazingly with the song, also it is quite addicting. Now I am even more excited about Sainthood!

  57. jason from bc canada  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

i liked tegan and sara better when they were still just the canadian twins no one had heard of besides me and a handful of lesbians. i used to e-mail them and sara would e-mail me back and tell me about tegan’s new haircut and other cute things. they’re so talented and i’m glad they’re successful now (no doubt they deserve it) but too many idiots listen to their music now and it’s not the same.

    • I know exactly what you mean. But they’re growing up, so we have to release them into the borderline mainstream world with open minds/arms.

  58. rubes  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    whaaaaaat thaaaa faaaaachk?!?!?

    THIS SHIT’S AWESOME!!!

  59. Steph  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    love it!!!!

  60. val_  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    just plain awsomness!!!

  61. the end is the best part of the song, when there’re nomore vocals.

  62. asdf  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

You obviously don’t listen to much electronic music because this isn’t techno. Before you call something bad, know something about it first. Thanks.

Admittedly, Tiesto has lost his touch.

  63. Amblastic  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

haha…im listening to it for a 6th time…its an amazing song for chilling in your dorm and sketching (what im doing now) or a trancy techno feel for partying…fantastic. everyone who had a helping hand in its production…thanks!!

  64. Dali fan  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

I’m not a big fan of techo/dance but I love the song. As far as I’m concerned these two women are just extremely talented. It wouldn’t matter what music you put behind their voices. For those folks who don’t like it.. that’s your right. It doesn’t change my mind. For the folks who think T&S are just using they’re sexuality for the purpose of financial gain, you really should educate yourself about the subject matter before opening your mouth and saying something ignorant.

  65. tara  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

    i love it!

  66. I think its real nice, actually. Very catchy and a bit different but it still has that T&S flavor to it. Definitely cant wait for Sainthood.. has to be quite amazing, me thinks.

  67. trvlrshoes  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

Love this song very catchy. I’ve listened to it quite a few times already and i’m starting to annoy my roommate… oh well. Love Tegan and Sara and while i haven’t to tiesto too much before this song is awsome and dancy =) Thank you Tiesto, Tegan and Sara I might actually learn to dance because of this track lol

  68. I love this song!!! beautiful!! I love Tegan and Sara!!! yayy

  69. Rykie  |   Posted on Aug 18th, 2009

on repeat yeah! can’t get enough. sigh

  70. O.A.W Giveaway  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

I can only assume, by the utter vacuousness of the 80! comments on this meaningless drivel by meaningless people, that there was some sort of concerted effort/link/fan club prize package to try to convince the jaded Brooklyn-worshipping grad students on this site that, golly, some d-grade folk singer yowling over fucking outdated Eurotrance beats is somehow just, like, the best thing ever. Nice work, Tegan/Sara/Tiesto street team! You’ve won me over!
However, it is better than that fucking Weezer they keep talking about here.

  71. evvk  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

oh well, i knew i would stop listening to tiësto someday. i’m not really into pop music.

  72. before this, i thought tegan and sara were rather mediocre, and was surprised by the number of views on youtube. then i read the comments here and realized what a shitty fanbase they have, filled with not-just-yet hipster highschool girls orgasming over any acoustic female singers.

  73. Thank you XAN! (is your name Alexander? AWESOME nickname) I never know how to respond to comments like that.

mainstream media picks up on TnS every once in a while and only on their sexuality and the fact that they’re twins and things like that and I’m assuming one of those occasional mentions is how WTF heard about them. So, WTF, I agree with XAN you need to just do some research for yourself, they have a heavy loaded Wikipedia page, they’ve been in the indie scene for 10 years now, built their fan base on their own. They earned everything the have, their success is a result of hard work.

Which is why fans are so protective of them; we know what they have done to get where they are. And it seems like someone is always trying to discredit them, so excuse us if we come off a bit aggressive.

  74. alex  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

Tegan and Sara are boring. They have one decent album so far . One. So jealous. Thats it. Everything else is crappy hipster shit. Your all little girls who also have Paramore on the ipod. Your all little sheep and wear that same hottopic popular flannel shirt tegan wears. on the constant. you get the same haircut. There about equivalent to a boy band. Yup. they have a great PR team thats why you even know who they are, there are sooo many great bands but they never come close to their little girl fanbase. t and s just got lucky. plain and simple. right place and right timing. This song is so bad. Tiesto sucks the biggest balls of them all. He doesnt know shit about music other then to make it stupid dancy overrated techno and then send then before you know it your local beauty bar and indoe dance club is spinning it for the smelly, hairy airpit girl and tight pant ackward boy to dance to. rock and roll is lost. because you little girls wont research, wont remember, wont invent and wont seak out the true real music that is out there. fuck tiesto and fuck this song. the con was boring and sainthood will have one lukewarm song that you kids can sing loudly too at their next acts and then really jump up when you hear BIYH. take a shower.

  75. NovaaX  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

I’ll prob get flamed for saying this, but this song is decent at best, im a huge tiesto fan and after comparing it to most of his music, it jus doesnt seem as good as most of you make it out to be, I mean yes, w all no Tiesto is a genius but, this song just isn’t one of his best. Just my opnion though. Its good, but thats it

  76. tnsfan  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

sara’s voice is the best thing ever.

    this song is on repeat.

    <3

  77. sojealous  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

This is such a great song. I love Sara’s voice. I can’t wait for Sainthood !!!

  78. Allison  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

I agree with the basic criticism–this song isn’t that great. I suppose it doesn’t help that I’m not a fan of the pop/techno genre. Having said that, this isn’t at all reflective of Tegan and Sara’s musicality or overall talent. I honestly don’t understand all of the severely negative comments directed towards them and their fans. I think the following that they have built for themselves isn’t at all due to a successful PR campaign–in fact, it appears that most of the promoting that goes on for tours and albums and T&S gear comes straight from the sisters themselves. They have clearly (as many people have already mentioned) built a following for themselves over the course of ten years, rarely sacrificing integrity and quality for success. Whether their music appeals to you or not–as it inevitably cannot appeal to everyone–there is no need to hurl insults every which way: just listen to the song and move on.

  79. ALEX, DUDE!! Stop generalizing you don’t know WHAT you’re talking about, I am sure that there are fans that fit your extremely offensive harsh profile, but not everyone. In fact I bet some TnS fans are into whatever music you are.

My favorite bands are Queens of the Stone Age and Sleater-Kinney. I love TnS as well. I also LOVE Metallica, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots AND Paramore. It’s called flexiblity most people have it now-a-days. And you know what? It’s GREAT! It means I can listen to and enjoy a wide variety of music and enjoy it.

Why so angry anyway? Music is about opinions and people will disagree, but argue? Telling people they’re wrong for liking or not liking something, is pointless!

P.S I’m not that crazy about BIYH either, see, gotta stop generalizing!!!

  80. ugh I have to acknowledge that I put “enjoy” twice, sorry about that lol

  81. Sweeeeet I’m feeling it in my bones! haha

  82. WTF IS UP WITH 90+ COMMENTS for this band? So many T&S fangirls on stereogum? WTF

  83. Maylene&theSons  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

I think my enjoyment of this song is purely based on the Tegan and Sara aspect haha. Dance music isn’t really my thing.
I really enjoy the shifting texture creating by the vocals and the harmonies. Tegan and Sara did a wonderful job writing in a style that (as far as I am aware) they have never written in before c:
They have a gorgeous sense of musical sound. I think they could make anything sound great. The end.

  84. MsNJS  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

Some of you all need to stop hating. Its one thing to dislike, but some of you are taking it to another unnecessary level.

Sara has a great voice for this type of dance/electro genre. But the song really kicks up with Tegan’s part. LOVE IT. I don’t know if I felt more energy, liked the lyrics or the melody change, but she kilt her part.
Love them singing together. I like it. Alot.

  85. Courtney  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

I’m disappointed. Then again, our era of music tends to be disappointing. I have respect for them as individuals because I’ve observed how intellectual both of them are and that does come across in their music. However, I feel that they should work seperately as individual artists. I feel like that would be a more rewarding and refreshing sound.

  86. tiesto AND tegan and sara?! have i died and gone to heaven?!?!?! omg now…. if only T & t&s could tour together…. and come to phoenix, az?! then i know i would have died and gone to heaven!!!!! btw, this was beautiful!!!!

It’s just awesome! Weeeee NEW MUSIC!

  88. the song is ok.i’m not such of a dance fan,but this one turned out ok .I kind of loved all of t and s colaborations but this one is not their style.my opinion.

  89. Did someone say something about “PR agents” or something like that??? wow….hilarious, a lot of people are commenting on Tegan & Sara who obviously know very little about them. Well I will try to make this my last comment, and I just want to suggest that people who don’t know much about Tegan & Sara, their music, their history, or their fans maybe just stick to giving an opinion on the track. I mean, it seems to be all of what the people who don’t like Tegan & Sara on here (so far) really know about.

  90. Never before have I seen so MANY GIRLS COMMENT on stereogum. This seems fishy to me.

So apparently we aren’t allowed to like paramore if we like T&S. thanks to the people, like alex for example, who pointed out that it is wrong to like more than one artist or genre. ill get busy deleting the other 182 artists besides tegan and sara that i have on my ipod right now! heaven forbid i have an open mind about music and variety in what i listen to. :)

great song btw. Tegan and Sara rock, as do many other artists. (hope i don’t get in trouble for saying that) ;)

  92. It’s not even their song! lol It’s Tiesto’s!….anyway

HAHA how do I explain it! You! Me everyone! this back and forth debating and arguing is how it happened! AND the fans, as mentioned by a few people before TnS have built their fan base on their own. Starting 10 years ago and have gotten popular through word of mouth. It really is marketing through fans. They’re indie and have been on indie labels since they’ve been out, trust and believe they didn’t have PR agents when they were selling out small clubs and venues in 2002 when their 3rd cd came out, hell they didn’t even have management when they first appeared on Letterman! They have created their own community, with NO HELP from labels. Now WMG distributes their music and gives them a small budget for videos but that’s ALL Warner does! They’re signed under Sire which is a indie label, granted a larger one but indie nonetheless and I assure you once they got under them they had no need for a “PR Agency” as they were well established in the indie scene. Also they managed to get some radio play, enough to further grow their fan base.

oh and as for the whole p.r. thing and the number of comments…it’s the exact opposite. the reason so many ppl commented is because t&s don’t even need a p.r. team. they communicate directly to the fans via their website and twitter. which you would all know if you watched the video that is posted on this very page. don’t diss on a band just because they have dedicated fans. after all that is the point right? :)

  94. mark  |   Posted on Aug 19th, 2009

this is why you cant post anything about these types of bands. because although i enjoy their music, you just invited 500 14 year old girls to flood the comment section with LOL <3 THEM LOLZBBQ

  95. Well I’m 22, and I did use the term “lol” but just to lighten the dark dark mood this entire thing has put me in.

O hey, CAPTAINOBVIOUS, you were wondering how this story could have this many comments um…how many have you contributed now??? YEAH!…THAT’S how it happens!

    • Indeed. What the fuck is lots of comments going to do anyway?
      Does it hurt your feelings?

    • Plz change your avatar. I though Sleater-Kinney fans had good taste and didn’t listen to every boring generic acoustic female artist out there. I was wrong.

      • So you think if someone likes a band you like they should limit themselves to what you think is good? Grow up. People like different music to you. Get over it. Have a cry if it helps.

  96. If Tegan & Sara ever do a song with Imogen Heap then Stereogum will implode under the massive influx of fanatical unregistered comments.

So wait, is this the official song that will be on Sainthood, or is it just a remix by this techno guy? Because if it’s a remix, than the original song will sound wrong when I have this stuck in my head, but if this is the song T&S made, then I hope the album has some more techno-like songs. It’s a cool new style and I’d hate for the new album to just sound like The Con or something not new.

  98. ok….

Junior: No, I was responding to a question Captain Obvious asked actually, so….yeah…

Captain Obvious: I posted a comment earlier talking about how I listen to a wide variety of music. TnS is just one of MANY bands I listen to. Sleater-Kinney is my favorite band of all time. I don’t need to justify that…
