Weezer’s frontman says the hit song was an attempt to ape Velvet Underground that turned into “almost a complete rip-off” of “Welcome Home (Sanitarium).” Wonder if Lars will sue. More raditude (will Rivers work with Matt Sharp again?) at RS.
