Early this summer Smith Westerns’ double A-side “Be My Girl”/”Girl In Love” offered a pokier spin on the retro Bolan/Glitter vibe we continue to welcome (see also “Dream City“). The Chicago band has since gigged across the country surprising everyone by how young they are. SW’s newest lovelorn jam comes from a Fat Possum 7″, but the familiar Nuggets flair and youthful sentimentalism makes “Imagine, Pt. 3″ a welcome companion to the self-titled LP.
