I hope they don’t have hundreds of “fans” on the field pretending they’ve heard the Who before, and likewise, I hope they also don’t have some huge choreographed thing either. Just put the who on the stage and let them do their thing. That is what they’ve always done, mostly, and that is how it should stay.

  3. It’s just a shame that Daltrey’s vocals are trashed. I was hoping they would get Of Montreal to do it.

They couldn’t find anyone older to play…like Beethoven?

Get The White Stripes. They are the only hip younger band who could pull off playing this gig. I’m 50 and I’m tired of seeing all of these old timers trotted out every year. Or if it has to be an old timer, just let Prince play every year.

Gee I wonder what they will play? My picks are….

    1. My Generation
    2. Pinball Wizard
    3. Baba O’Riley
    4. Won’t Get Fooled Again
