Cardiff septet Los Campesinos!’ anticipated third album comes out the end of the month. We’ve posted “The Sea Is A Good Place To Think Of The Future” and “These Are Listed Buildings” and mentioned the collection features guest spots from Xiu Xiu’s Jamie Stewart, Parenthetical Girls’ Zach Pennington, and Jherek Bischoff of Dead Science. It also features a title track, which you’ll hear in this Alex de Campi-directed video. (Thanks for the tip, Kevin.) The clip gives us a dysfunctional day-to-day Soap Opera complete with too much LC beer, an animated LC romance novel, a black-hearted vanilla cake, smeared mascara, and a baseball bat.
Romance Is Boring is out 1/26 in the US via Arts&Crafts and 2/1 in the UK via Wichita. The “Romance Is Boring” b/w “Too Many Flesh Suppers” is out 2/15 digitally and as a 7″. As the band notes: “The perfect late Valentine’s gift for the one you loathe.”

Fantastic!! Loved it!
Pretty sure it’s “THERE are Listed Buildings” (what a great song that is!) but by any name, this new stuff from LC! proves they are one of the best bands out there.
*theRe are listed buildings
Brilliant video, by a brilliant band.
wasn’t sure this band could get any worse, but they seem to have managed it.
