I agree. Underwhelming. I don’t mind Massive Attack taking close to a decade for each release, but let me think you were doing something! Still, I think the rest of the album will be brilliant.

I had high hopes for the Damon Albarn track… sadly, I think it’s the weakest track on the album (which is no Mezzanine, but still pretty great)
not blown away by this . . . and btw; massive attack’s best albums never needed “monstrous cameo list” of guests . . . so i’m already a little skeptical about this one to be honest . . . I would be more excited if the next album had the full massive attack line-up (mushroom)

Come on… It’s a breath of fresh air in a sea of mediocre music (vampire weekend *cough*). And seriously, its Massive Attack with Damon Albarn; did you really expect something OVERwhelming?
