The autumnal, atmospherically rich psych-rocker “Invisible Forces” was the first track we upped from tender-hearted San Francisco crew the Fresh & Onlys underrated Grey-Eyed Girls. Maybe more eyes will turn their way now that the song now has a beautifully shadowy, ritualistic video directed by Christmas Island/Volar Records main man Craig Oliver and Nathan Gulick. It’s The Wicker Man (’73 original, not the ’06 Nicolas Cage remake) meets Jewelled Antler.
The original:
Grey-Eyed Girls is out via Woodsist. If you’re in SF, you can visit bassist Shayde Sartin at work and pick up a copy.
