Slow news day in the music biz?

It would be very sad if they didn't include Bobbi Kristina...I hope she's on the cover fold-out.

Isnt Sean Lennon supposed to be quite the ladies man, or so I've heard?

Whoa! There is no denying that is Art Garfunkle's son.

LOL -- yes, it's so hard to be plucked from obscurity and placed on the cover of Rolling Stone. It's such a hard life.

unrelated to the sad-looking garfunkel boy: i've got two kaiser chiefs tickets for tonight that i'm not using (i'm sick and feel like i'm slowly dying)...e-mail me if you want to buy them.

Yes, Ben Taylor's mom is Carly Simon. His voice sounds very much his Dad in fact.

I bet Rufus is really pissed he's on the flap instead on the cover. Heh.

For the moment, no one seems to have a scan of the full cover (it is a double-flapper, yes? And no, that clearly isn't industry jargon).

I'd like to see what other well heeled progeny occupy The Flap (no thanks to their less well heeled agents): Elijah Blue? Billy Joel's daughter? The tragi-comic duo of Carl & Dennis Wilson's sons? Those two make Steve Earle look freshly scrubbed in comparison.

Once I was in the front bar at the Knitting Factory and I got up to get a drink and Sean Lennon took my chair and moved it another table while I was up. Bastard.

Is next month the "Illigitimate Children of Rock Stars" cover? How about just "The Children of Screamin' Jay Hawkins."

Who else could be on the inner flap. Jakob Dylan? Nelson twins? Lenny Kravitz & Lisa Bonet's kid?

Oh, I know! David Crosby's kids by Julie Cypher!

Jimmy Webb's kids are out there somewhere.

As for Crosby, yeah, he occasionally tours with his son's band, right?

Have we all forgotten Nelson so soon?

And those Garfunkel genes sure are powerful ... poor kid.

you can see the inside flap on rollingstone.com. different portions of the entire shot are zoomed in at different points...15 kids total.

It is kind of tough for Sean Lennon. He is actually pretty talented, but will only be known for being a Lennon.
