Now the cockney, Professor Longhair sampler's got the #1 single in the UK and the requisite NME cover. The Internet buzz has served this Artist To Watch well, especially considering Lil's full-length debut is only half brilliant (you know it's true).
Spin.com asks, "Is the cute singer a budding phenom or a flash in the pan?"

What we wanna know is: is she hot? Her publicity photos are wildly inconsistent. In some she's so cute we wanna put her in our pocket; other times she looks like Mike Skinner in a wig. Not that it matters ... no wait, it totally does.

Don't you realize that this hot sometimes and not others, is true for a LOT of celebrities? It all comes down to hair and make-up. When a professional hair person, make-up artist and stylist are brought in, they can make anyone look hot (well, almost anyone). But, when it's just a girl without all that, they look ghastly in comparison. Luckily, she's going to have these people around her for a long time, so she'll be hot.
