New Lemonheads!

Stream four tracks, "Become The Enemy," "No Backbone," "Poughkeepsie" and "Let's Just Laugh"-- at thelemonheads.net. Selt-titled new "albuym" is in stores 9/26 on Vagrant.

This is pretty likable country-rock. Dando's vocals are a little laconic for my tastes, but the band is playing with some guts, so that sort of makes up for it. I'm not sure there's a single among these three that really stands out, but I'd like to think there is an audience for this music.

I believe I read J. Mascis is playing lead guitar on "No Backbone." Def. sounds like him.
