Scott Storch Is High On Life

Paris Hilton has ex-boyfriend Scott Storch to thank for her surprisingly semi-successful music career. And she's like, totally appreciative. Listen to the "Turn It Up" intro loop FourFour made.

Last night Stereogum came face to face with the über-producer outside J. Crew (i.e., the end of the VMA red carpet). We waited patiently while Scott chatted with One News, and then asked the one question on everybody's mind.

Don't wanna talk to us, Storch? That's hot.

Nice question, Scott. I love how that dude before you was licking his ass. I don't know why he was all secretive, his whole article in Rolling Stone was all about him smoking weed all day.

I'm not sure where M. Ward entered this talkback, but I too agree his new album is something amazing.

I like how Dre, prince among the hardscrabble hip-hop culture gurus, turns people (like this jerk) on to Apple computers so that they can get their work done.

Gawd forbid he had to actually play a freakin instrument. I really wish rap music would die, at least the (I laid down a great beat type of rap) Write original music and use a REAL band, and I might have some respect. Sample 20-30 year old songs, or play with your Casio all night while smoking splifs, I consider you a losah. Thats why Prince laughs at his ass. At least I hope he is.

To be fair, Storch does play keyboards and the dude was in The Roots, but he obviously saw where the money was.

Stephen is correct!!! Storch is one talened dude who likes to get paid to do all the work for far less talented people. which i cant blame him. He is getting paid.

Storch was can play the instruments.

storch plays the clavinet and keyboard and the violin. he doesnt sample shit...he makes that a point in almost every interview..
and the reason he cant say shit is because a confession on camera is probably not very good publicity. the rollin stones interview is printed. words on paper probably dont have the same publicity effect that a video confession of how many joints he smokes does. by the way- he smokes blunts...

Shaz, very well said. I think everyone here talking stupid should take an inventory of their achievements so far in life and compare them with Scott's. Then rethink your statements. Losers...

He doesn't sample anything!

That is the most stupid childish question to ask him.

He can smoke what ever the fuck he wants.

As for saying he does on camera, have you guys forgot its illegal to have weed.

So much of the media are wankers.

There is only one rule to the music business: Music = Money!

Stop the hate. 98.765489059% of you are either poor, ugly, stupid, fat, and/or boring. You would trade shoes with him just for the fame alone.
