What's the deal with her eyebrows?

Horrible taste in everything, but music especially. Her only likes musically are acts that have sold over 10 million copies of an album.

But I must admit, I too dislike that "screaming" music. (I assume she is referring to emo/screamo)

kudos to her friends -- even just her myspace ones -- for keeping their mouths shut while it was still a mystery.

if I hadn't thought it was fake from when I first heard about it (from stereogum) I never would have watched it in the first place, because if it was real it probably wouldn't go anywhere interesting.

Fuckin' deleted photbucket...but, I shouldn't be looking at this anyway. Thanks, Scott, now I feel like a creep.

I, for one, still love these videos. Dunno why, but they intrigue me. And yeah, those must be some kickass friends...never said anything, even when there were articles all over. I wonder how she kept a low profile the whole time...I mean, when you're being written about all over the place, you'd think someone would recognize her somewhere.

Am I the only one who's concerned about Daniel in all of this? Like was he an actor too?

I suspect that they aren't the pawns of a giant studio, but were just actors with few connections and limited career options using the internet, decent production skills, and a keen sense of how to hook people on their story to make a name for themselves.

She's about a million times more interesting as "Bree" than who she is in reality, based on her Myspace.

Uh...yeah, she's a lesbian, with all those female friends. Friends who sometimes stick there tongue out in the vicinity of their other friends face, eee! You people have clearly never met an actual lesbian, but do you know any 20 year old girls? You know porn stars aren't *really* into each other in those movies right?
Whatevs, if this pans out into 'BlairWitch Project 3: This Time It's Blogged', I'm totally going.

Actually there were pictures of her kissing a dude on the cheek before, I don't know where those pictures went. There were several with the same dude. Plus her myspace says "straight." I'm pretty sure that means "not a lesbian".

Band To Watch: Blank Dogs

Blank Dogs are actually singular: It's the insanely prolific one-man Brooklyn-based band of Mr. Blank Dog. We don't know too much about the biography of the guy behind the bedroom new-wave pop/punk and he's usually covering his face with masks...

Quit Your Day Job: Megafaun

Raleigh-via-Eau Clair BTW Megafaun debuted impressively earlier this year with Bury The Square. The trio nip-and-tuck experimental tendencies (tape splicing, white noise colliding with banjo, junkyard-laced spring reverb, screeching feedback at the tail end of a quiet back porch lament)...
