Jeremy Enigk's Interface
Jeremy Enigk visited AOL's The Interface to play stripped-down versions of his grand, melodic solo work ... and one SDRE tune!
1. 'River to Sea'
2. 'Lewis Hollow'
3. 'Explain'
4. 'World Waits'
5. 'How It Feels to Be Something On' (Sunny Day Real Estate)
According to the post-set Q&A, the night before this performance marked the first time solo Jeremy did the song live ("Hopefully the guys at Sunny Day don't get mad at me.") He also talks about his "awkward" experience at Lollapalooza. As for a Sunny Day reunion? "You never know."
Listen to the podcast here. (MP3)
Jeremy's World Waits is out 10/17.

I assume he meant that it was the first time he did 'How It Feels to Be Something On' without a backing band, since he definitely performed it during his encore at last month's bowery show...

I haven't listened to the podcast, but his Lolla show WAS a bit awkward. But then again, he exuded about as much charisma as a garbage disposal repairman.

I've met him before. He seems like the kind of guy who makes you feel like an embarassment to humanity, awkward as hell, even after saying to him only something as simple as "great show."
