New Klaxons Video - "Golden Skans"

Although NME poster children Klaxons made some waves in '06, next year is really meant to be their coming out party. Their first full length Myths Of The Near Future is out in the UK 1/29, and this is the lead single, set for release one week prior. We actually dig at least one song these guys have ("Gravity's Rainbow" off of the Xan Valleys EP is a storm raiser); for better or worse, this tune is nothing like it. And there's no better way to cast off that "day-glo painted sweatshirt" image like turning up naked in the water! (By the way, the play button is the little speck of a thing off to the left -- sorry, formatting's a bitch.)

I liked it! Song's catchy enough to make me want to sit through all that funky visual. Glad they were wearing underwear.

Finally someone's dressing appropriately.

Do they direct these videos themselves?

Not exactly the "New rave" of Gravity's or Atlantis but its awesome nonetheless. Don't think its quite as good as the demo but the video is brilliant. If you like it, try Foals, I posted a demo over at mine.

sometimes i feel guilty, like i'm buying into the NME hype, but the more i hear from these guys, the more i think i love them.

Foals are a far stronger band than the Klaxons.. their links with Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies are clearly evident.

This is a cold rip off of the "Feel It" video by the Jackons. Jaxons? Love the Klax boys but FOR SHAME!

Comfortably likeable and remniscent of early hiccupy Cure...nice eye candy aka the lead singer once to wipe off half the eyeliner....rhythmic gymnastics must've picked up since I left England...
