New Panther Video - "How Well Can You Swim (E* Rock Remix)"

You know him as the consummate breakdancer in The Thermals' "Pillar Of Salt" video, but Charlie Salas-Humara (aka Panther) is a one man sonic wrecking crew in his own right, crafting a "mutant" strain of pop that fuses strained falsetto to dirty dance beats. This vid is for the E*Rock remix of a track from his debut full length Secret Lawns and answers a question we had on first listen: Is he serious? A few caged doves and a bandana-rocking dance crew later, the answer is obvious: Definitely maybe. Awesome track, best video you'll see all day.

Here's the original:

Panther - "How Well Can You Swim?" (MP3)

Secret Lawns is out 3/7 on Fryk Beat.

Agreed...the last video for 'you don't want yr nails done' had a lot more to it.

Still love Panther though. He's golden.
