Hipster's Delight: Justice Remix Justin Timberlake

Basic math, kids: something x something = something squared. So ... Justin x Justice = cool to a higher power? Well we'd love to supply the snark, but those French electro kids are on a hot streak and it's straight fire on this one. "LoveStoned" never struck us as a great choice for a single (the vid was abysmal), but once the track is dispensed via Justice's three-part banger, it's unstoppable. The bass slaps are relatively tame through the first pass, the strings take hold in act two, and then you lovers will freak for the distorto-synth climax. Listen at Hype and enjoy, or else Justin Timberlake will shower you with strawberries and spit.

Remix itself is pretty ok but Timberlake's voice remains unsufferable.

Stereogum! Like I went over last week, something is squared only when the "something"s are the same. Justice and Justin, though similar in moniker, are actually not equal, and the result of the multiplication would not actually be squared.

In fact, when one of the variables has a potentially negative cool factor, the result will, unfortunately, be negative.

Did you finish the Mathmagic worksheet I assigned at the end of class yesterday?

This remix does nothing for me. No wait - it caused to me to make this post.

How is calling him Timbercake clever, funny, imaginative, or relevant? There are many better options (see: timberfake, timbersnake, timberlame, timberllama (due to their penchant for projectile spittle).

I spat on a Swede once. It was an unfortunate and awkward affair that was drawn out for months afterwards, so I feel Justin's pain. It's not our fault. The Swedes just seem so spattable, and then immediately turn on you.

Fortunately, there's a support group. For more information, please visit spatonaswede.org.

Don't be silly, y'all haters. Justin Timbaland has come a long way since sixth grade (when he was indeed the negative cool factor to, um, Limp Bizkit's positive). Plus, his having been N Sync is part of the fun. Get your sense of irony in the right place, and don't let it keep your ass from getting on the FLOOR.
