New Little Ones - "Lovers Who Uncover (CSS Remix)"

What's the first thing you think of when talking about Brazilian sextet Cansei de Ser Sexy? If it's not sex (hey, turned up twice in the question alone), it's party-starting dynamo Lovefoxxx; perhaps to you these are synonymous (and perhaps that's 'cause you're a Klaxon). In any case, we wanted to letcha down gently; Lovefoxxx does not appear on this remixxx. Instead we get CSS's electro cloak, thrown over the only Little Ones song that's grabbed our ears to date, "Lovers Who Uncover."

At first the CSS/Little Ones pairing might seem random, but look closer and it's not tough to see why they thought it'd be a fit.

The track is part of the Little Ones' Lovers Who Uncover digital-only EP (including remixes of the title track by Crystal Castles, Stereolab, Clit, along with one new tune), out 6/5. The band sits the festival circuit this summer: Wireless Festival, Hyde Park, ACL ... and Bonnaroo (tonight!).

It's better that Lovefoxxx does not appear on this remix.

The easiest way to tell whether your favorite music blog has jumped the shark is by checking whether they post MP3s or streaming links.

Posting MP3s means they have some concept of what readers actually want. Streaming means they're in the label PR machine's pocket; avoid at all costs.

or, you know, being sued. idolator finally stopped posting leaks, etc. because they were facing serious lawsuits. if the choice is between not posting something and being sued or getting a takedown notice because streaming means they're in someone's pocket, well, fuck it. i'll take streams. you can keep your che shirt on and like, totally fuck the system by downloading the mp3 on some other site.

In terms of this remix (which no one seems to have listened to), it was actually done by CSS drummer/singer Adriano. He's amazing.

When we talk about CSS, we are only talk about Adriano Cintra! He's great, he's the brain!

Lovefoxxx is great too, also with the drummer.
