Debbie Harry Schools Kids On Punk

There's a recent resurgence of all things Debbie of late. There's that Gondry-directed biopic (for which we voted Elisa Cuthbert, but actually stars Kirsten Dunst, a choice which Debbie approves), there's the Lily Allen collab, there's the new album. But our favorite Harry turn? Distinguishing punk from new wave for grade schoolers. FYI: So far she has not pooped onstage, though many times she has felt like pooping onstage.

ALSO: Debbie tells NYT that her current favorites include Lily, M.I.A., and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

THE KILLERS ARE PANSIES.

I don't think that clip was very punk rock. Careful, Debbie. You're still my favorite rock'n'roll GILF, but you're pushing it, there.

If spitting is punk than Avril is Johnny Rotten.

you know who's a better 'punk' david byrne, he doesn't stay in the same damn rut for 30 years. Johnny Rotten '77 interesting, Johnny Rotten '07 tired.
