Kanye West Shows Up To The Kid Sister/A-Trak/The Cool Kids Gig At The American Museum Of Natural History

Flavorpill's monthly One Step Beyond party series, at NYC's Museum Of Natural History, got a little publicity bump Friday night. The Chicago-centric lineup itself was enough to pull a big crowd, but after the Cool Kids set, things seemed to have got a little out of hand when Kanye turned up to join Kid Sister (like he does), and to do some of his own. Unannounced, of course, but looking at the Kanye-approved artist list in hindsight, his appearance seems about as surprising as his thinking wearing fur at a fashion museum was a solid fashion choice. Thanks to reader Colin for sending in this "Stronger" video, where the fur's on display and the people are apparently not yet sick of "Stronger":

DJ Jazzy Jeff's on tap for next month's OSB party (2/29), and then expect another hipster explosion with Simian Mobile Disco on 3/28. Between this series and Night At The Museum, the AMNH have got that club-kid/Ben-Stiller-fanclub crossover demo on lockdown.

It's funny how the crowd slowly start to die out after the first couple lines.

You can be my black kate moss tonight...
