Lily Allen Shows Her Sketchy Side, Makes A Good Wino

On a recent taping of the UK's Friday Night Project (think Saturday Night Live with lots more Big Brother jokes), Ms. Allen was the host/musical guest and used the opportunity to show her acting chops, which included donning a beehive wig in homage to Amy Winehouse. It's like when Jessica Simpson did Britney, only less blonde and more British. (Fast forward for Lil in black frames in an apparent Tina Fey send-up.)

Lots more sketches and Lily/Ronson doing "Oh My God" from the Friday Night Project taping here.

Yawn...another Lily Allen post.

This slag is horrible. Why do you waste our time with her talentless, fat little face?

Awwwwhh why is there so much Lily hate up in here? Amy Winehouse wishes she looked that good.

It's British humor. Not the cream of the crop, but it's not that bad if you've got a mind for it. Besides, how can you not laugh at, "That's not a thermometer, you've just painted numbers on your cock"?

Also, why no mention of Blur's Alex James appearing towards the end of this clip? Or Lily's third nipple, in the "part 3" clip? You're slipping, Stereogum.

The whole Big Brother thing was a huge "Wait, what?"
Highlight: Lily saying "Shut iiit".

Oooh, that Alex James is still a handsome devil, isn't he? I'm guessing he was there since he's friends with Keith? I dunno.

This is lower-tier British Humour™ but still managed to be funnier than SNL's been in ages.
