New Bishop Allen Video - "Click Click Click Click" (Stereogum Premiere)

No, not Chk Chk Chk ... this is "Click Click Click Click," more specifically the video for a catchy tune by Brooklyn popsters Bishop Allen. And admit it, the first time you heard "take another picture with your click click click click camera," you thought "how long 'til this becomes a commercial?" The answer: not long at all -- those watching their Sunday NFL yesterday probably caught Sony's camera ad during the Bills/Jaguars game. Gotta give it to Sony for being the first to catch that perfect pairing, and congrats on the exposure to Bishop Allen (nothing to fear, guys -- selling out isn't possible). The official vid takes its own twist on the track: Wind up the camera and walk backwards into the process of developing, splicing, drying, and trying to find the perfect framing. The final post-up process turns into a bit of band animation, amid their own ad hoc Take-Away Show. This is one of those indie-rock metaphors, right?

Cool video -- right as "Rain" -- but not enough Darbie Nowatka in there. Minor complaint, though it reminds us that you should be voting for Indie Rock hotties as we speak.

Here, take it with you:

it is really weird that one of the dudes in this band was behind all of the awesome science projects on the former thespark.com

If, by "not long at all", you mean "over two years since it was first released", then yeah. Not long at all.

It was first released in July oh six, TJ. Although I'm sure Sony weren't subscribers to the EP project, so we're talking late July 2007 here. That's not long.

I don't care how old it is, it's STILL awesome.

Justin is on the Mr. Indie category for the voting, but why doesn't Christian's name register?
