New Maxïmo Park Video - "Girls Who Play Guitars"

From Devo nods to sincere stares, Maxïmo Park's clearly put forethought and finances into their Earthly Pleasures clips, which we appreciate. It's always around video #3 that the laziness sets in/the coffers run dry, though, and unless you're JT, that's when things go to shit. (For JT, it hit the skids with #4.) And aside from a swirly trick or two, it is pretty standard we're playing/you're cheering fare ... but we love this song's hook (and bridge), so here ya go.

This is the only listenable song on that whole album.

Ugh, remember when rock from the UK was enjoyable?

wow Allen I totally don't agree with you.

I think the vid for 'Our Velocity' is better, but this is a fun song. I just saw Maximo in Chicago earlier this week and they were INSANE. I think they take drugs no one else knows about.

dude. I am pretty sure that 75% of enjoyable rock is not coming from this country. UK has the best sounds hands down.

Pretty sure about 75% of the enjoyable rock is coming from overseas, esp the UK. Not slammin on you Allen, but i just think you should have put more thought into that statement because the UK is crankin it out. I think people would be inclined to agree that stateside, well, the music industry is sucking so hard. Leave it to the Brits and Aussies to get us through.

Eh, whatever, the US rock versus UK argument could go on forever. I'm just glad I finally know who the hell Maximo Park are, since they're playing my venue this sunday in Seattle.
