"Thriller" in Manil-err...

Just the one question, really. See if you can guess it.

Wtf?

Apparently these inmates of the Philippines' Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center have done this before, but we were inspired to post by their faithful take on the original (also, we're suckers for that arms-up "Thriller" dance). On the one hand, it's good to see inmates being rehabilitated in a way that will help them become productive members of society (if by "productive member of society" one means "able to lurch around like a zombie"). On the other hand, doesn't this violate the Geneva convention?

And, more importantly, do you think they take requests?

think of the situation when they came up with the idea. how did they organize it? is there a dancing leader (clearly, the michael jackson)? how did they came up with the structures? the lines of men? how did they chose that man to play the woman?
the weirdest part of it all is that the more i think about it, the more i like the idea. kudos to them!

the last 30 seconds wasn't part of the act, thats just actually what happens when they get all excited.

I'm not sure if this falls under the death penalty, but I know I'd die a little each day after being forced to take part in this.

I want to know where they got her outfit, and why is she the only one that has a costume. You think at least "Michael" would have got one too.

it woulda been funny and tragic at the same time if the inmates chose that fellow to play the girl, then at the end, the zombies really killed her. like he was the snitch or something and it was all an elaborate plan to kill him!

I think that after seeing this we can safely say that all those people have paid their debt to society.
