What Is RATM82407?

What's going on here? The countdown 'til de la Rocha drops another funky radical bomb track on Ann Coulter's house? We've received your emails about ratm82407.com, and we have no clue. Got answers? Head over, check it out, postulate. Don't linger too long on the site, though; "Bulls On Parade" on repeat is nearly as aggravating as Memory Almost Full on an infinite loop. (We departed over an hour ago but had to leave the barristas behind, those poor bastards.)

Even though it's not a Tuesday I am sure it is a release date. Maybe a digital release or something. But, then again, who gives a shit?

I don't know, but it's associated with Live Nation- not a good sign.

When you enter your information for more info, something comes up on the bottom like "promo.livenation.com."

Has to be a concert date somewhere.

um i dunno rage usta big fav due largely to tom morello's innovations -------- BUT now i don't really care (yawn) for me the next big hurry-up-consumer-get-excited thing is the next batman movie (8-14-08) --- anyone see the i support harvey dent too site, and the random joker playing cards showing up in oddly located comic book shops across the US ---- now that's marketing!

I think the first countdown is for the new RATM.com page. The second might be the date of their new tour (remember the Wisconsin rumor ?)
I don't think they can make a new album so fast. Rage need more time. Time to make kickass music with a strong message. Glad they're back :)

I think they're releasing a split EP with Man Man on August 24th. It's either Man Man or Islands.

Looks like the promise of some forthcoming reunion album of inevitable mediocrity. The count-down to a cash-in. Are you excited?

yup...alpine valley show. it's even in the source code.

The first countdown is probably the announcement of the tour dates day.

It's a show at Alpine! Not an album. They'll be playing with a few bands. The show starts at 5 so there's room for 3 or 4 bands before Rage. I heard that Muse might be one of them.

I figured this out a few days ago, and hadn't checked back... can't believe nobody else tried it.

Change your computers clock / calender to the 11th (the final day of the first countdown).

It is, indeed, a show at Alpine... and a link to LiveNation's site to buy tickets. Great.
