Called this about 5 seconds into the spot… it was an EXACT copy of the tune, with a lead guitar playing the vocal line verbatim and a few chords changed at the very end. Funny thing is, you can’t copyright a chord progression, so they probably could have gotten away with it if not for that lead guitar…
As far as rock musicians go, Flea is fist class. I don’t think there’s very many artists who wouldn’t sound good with him.

Animal Collective is definitely garnering a name for themselves in the hippy/jamband world the same way the Lips did… if it can be perceived as psychedelic then let the twirling commence.
Reunion tours… or as I like to call them, nostalgia parties, or sorry-you’re-too-young-to-have-caught-us-in-our-prime tours. Let’s hope they do this right, unlike so many acts that “come back” as a shell of their former selves…
