someone is gunning for the artist of the year. why can’t you ever mess-up htdw?
i am kind of surprised wise blood does not get much love as it deserves.,
i think this is a singular work by a very prolific artist. name dropping others even his bandmates pretty much discredits the work he has done considering that we haven’t really immersed ourselves with the album. declaring how it would fare in the 2011 top ten liztomania this early proves how obsessed some of us with these lists and not really the substance of music itself.
I can tell your a fan and it is perfectly suited to what I think. I read this thread in this same site pissing on Angles and I was shocked. People expect the band to record another “Is This It?” but would prolly piss on it to if they did. I am happy with the record, not completely in love with it but thankful they have released this. NOW the next album should be better.

wow really? radiohead will be so sad to hear that, will ruin their whole year to have not even meet your “great tunes” pedestal. too sad to not have enjoyed the record, but all is good i suppose.
this record needs super conscious listening. i have listened to it thrice today and i am ashamed to say i just used them as background of my day. i don’t wanna be pressured by all this “me-first” attitude towards some people about the album, so tonight with my coffee and new, crispy speakers in my room i offer the king of limbs my ears. finally then i can confidently shout out about my blurbs. it’s too early to say anything about it really without sounding too desperate to be relevant.
so happy to find this, i was reading resonant frequency yesterday and wondered where can i read about HTDW and score some tracks. alas! they’re here. thanks!
yeah same here, i wanna wake up one day liking the band but i guess 2010 is the return of the best acts last decade new records everywhere!

i saw some leaks of it. not wise to get it, cannot compromise the quality of this record.
why is joanna newsom’s have one on me often snubbed in this mid-year list?

i agree with this one. those records are all up in prod value but less engaging and lacking in depth.
