So I know it’s “uncool” to like the Chili Peppers in 2011, and yes John is no longer with the group, but I’ve built a bridge about that and I’m looking forward to actually listening to the album next week! I hope others also hold their judgement until they actually listen to it!

I also didn’t really care for it on first listen, but it’s really really grown on me. Lyrically, I also thought it was way stronger than their last album. Hope give it multiple spins as this is an interesting new direction.
Being a life-long Wisconsinite of course I’m looking forward to another Bon Iver LP! Woo!
This totally sucks, but I really appreciate their reasoning. They gave us all many great albums and quit while they were ahead. Much love and much respect from the Blue Man. Now bring on the Meg White solo album!

I agree with Jotme completely. Music taste is purely up to the listener and if you don’t like Vampire Weekend simple ignore them and stop trolling. Bashing them doesn’t make you cooler, it just makes you sound like a hipster douche-culural elitist.
That was a quick admission and denial by Brian Bell and I’m almost not buying it. This potential sellout is another example of a stupid decision by Weezer in the later career descent into suckitude.
