40 minutes for an opening act is rare. Also, tickets were 10 bucks.
Plus, whether bands rock harder or not is not t he issue, Jay is notorious for short, hyper sets (even as a headliner).
40 minutes is longer then he’s ever played when I’ve seen him. Due to Jay’s behavior, this was bound to happen someday. He’s also gotten a bigger profile lately, and that attracts more douchebags. I hope people jumped the dudes that did it after the show.

These lists are always predictable. There a lot of duds from otherwise good artists that don’t really belong on any list (Regina Spektor, YYYs, Wilco, Fuck Buttons), a few WTF sucky albums (Artic Monkeys, Brand New, The Horrors), and then the obvious choices (MPP, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors). The others I like, but not enough to put on a best of list (except maybe Dino Jr, Bat For Lashes, and Neon Indian).
