These reposts are making me sad that I wasn't here in the Lindsay days :(
Somebody already had the name catweazle so I had to register as catweazlol :(
It does seem weird to have a website going away be such a big deal but really when you think about it, and I don't want to speak for anybody else but it's true for me, it's like when you realize that you spend way more time with the people you work with than anybody else in your life and since I spend more time interacting with you guys in the comment section when I'm at work than actually conversing with my coworkers, it's like that x2, plus I actually like all of you guys and I don't like a lot of my coworkers! And I definitely like Kelly more than my boss! So even though it's the internet, it's still been such a big part of my day to day life that there's going to be a big gaping hole! So what I'm saying is that I will not be surprised if this becomes a topic when I go to therapy tonight so you're not alone.
What a day already! The CTA was messed up more than usual this morning so I was late to work which was bad because I had to meet with HR first thing to talk about the fact that I'm quitting and they suggested that I might get sued which is not pleasant but also not likely and whatever I don't even care I just want to get the f out of here! And then I told a couple of people in my department that I'm leaving and they were super sad which was sad but also nice in a way too I guess? And now I have to work for two more weeks and pretend I care and it's actually kind of busy right now but I'm just like "Whatever!!!" But also I had thought that my shift at my new job was going to be super early in the morning but I just found out that I can actually have the same schedule I have now thank god! I was trying to convince myself that working super early would be ok but I can barely drag myself out of bed every morning as it is. On the whole though this day is good because I have been working towards switching to this new job for a couple of months now and I haven't been able to tell anybody at work about it until today and it is SUCH a relief. I hate keeping secrets!
Oh my god I forgot about this but it just made me laugh so hard again. And ugh you guys, I want to savor these last couple of days but my stupid company is distracting me with all these quitting formalities (which apparently include mentioning that though they really love me and will miss me, if they really wanted to they could sue me for leaving). You know what they say, if you love something, let it go and get a job that will pay them a decent salary!
The tiny kitten jumping all over that dog! Ahh! I'm so sad that when I get my cat this website won't exist anymore. I was going to cat-photo-spam the shit out of the How Was Your Day Today posts :(
That's actually not true! I've read all the original books and stories and Moriarty only actually appears in The Final Problem, where he dies. I think he's mentioned in passing one or two others but much like Irene Adler he's become iconic just for being in one story.

So the Sherlocked Development Tumblr is the best and you should look at it. They got a lot of great material this season. http://i57.tinypic.com/95wzk6.gif http://i62.tinypic.com/2i94iet.gif
This was a weird season overall! Not necessarily in a bad way, but during the second episode I definitely said the words "What the fuck is this episode" out loud more than once. But then, that episode was my favorite! I don't even know. The third one I had some problems with mainly because I didn't really understand why John would forgive Mary and not care how many people she murdalized in her other life? I don't know, it seemed dumb and also they never really showed us enough of their relationship to believe that they have the strongest love of all and we were just supposed to accept it (which I always kind of felt with Amy and Rory on Doctor Who too so maybe it's a Moffat thing). And I really don't want Moriarty to come back because (I swear I don't have a problem with Moffat on the whole but really there's no other way to explain this) something Moffat can't seem to understand is that if you keep bringing back the same villain, it gets less scary and impressive every time! Like I roll my eyes when the Weeping Angels come on Doctor Who and they used to be so scary!
This was wonderful and also reminded me of the worst band I ever saw. What was unfortunate about the situation was that my band was on tour and we had been playing nothing but shitty venues to basically like 10 people a night, and we got to our Boston show and there were actually people there! It was so exciting! And then the band that played before us, Technoir, were so bad that literally EVERYBODY left. I am not exaggerating. The only person who stayed was my friend who also worked at the venue. This band had a pedal board that was literally like five feet by five feet and it was just two dudes, one on guitar and one on bass, making a wall of sound while the singer did a bad Ian Curtis impression with lyrics like "ALCOHOL. I LOVE ALCOHOL. I NEED ALCOHOL." It was unbelievable.
Oh there's no way I would quit a job if I didn't have another one on deck! I'm way too much of a wimp and like money too much!
That's so weird, I didn't see this comment before I used this same quote in the next post! Donna Sorta Darko?
YES! (No). The only thing that softened this blow was that I wasn't going to be able to be on here as much anyway once I started the new job because my schedule is going to be a lot different.
You guys I'm sorry this is totally off topic but I just gave notice at my terrible job. So many changes all at once! Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Monsters of our lives!
Obviously this is the Holy Grail of GOOP posts, but let's share our other favorites! This is my favorite mainly for the comments.
This is perfect because this is the only episode of Downton Abbey that I have seen and I didn't read it at the time because I hadn't watched it then.
Aw man, I'm going to have to stop assuming anybody knows what I'm talking about when I use the phrase "pull an Al Roker" once this place is gone :(
The Vampire Diaries is a great show and the Twilight movies make for great drinking game material so vampires get an A+ from me even if they are an inherently stupid concept.
I always loved those fake interviews. I hope we get a Friendly Chat repost at some point!
BEFORE YOU POST AN OFF TOPIC COMMENT ON A BLOG YOU SHOULD GO FUCK YOURSELF!
Oh I watched this movie a few months ago! It was so pretty and full of beautiful people! Shout out to Waris Ahluwalia!
It only seems fair that Kelly get her own beautiful sign. http://i61.tinypic.com/2daxa92.gif
"Cereal Prize" is an anagram of "Lazier Creep." WHAT DOES IT MEAN???

TBH I was already planning on blogging about the new season of Drag Race when it starts so if we've got a blog going I'd write 'em for free.
My sister told me about the WMOAT because she said it reminded her of my blog where I recap movies and it was really slow at my job at the time because it was the middle of summer and I read all of them and then started looking at the other posts occasionally and then set up an account so I could upvote and then fell down the beautiful slippery slope of commenting.

But what am I supposed to do during the day now? My job? :(
Also I really want to read that ghost play. Don't hold out on us, Kelly!
Kids write such wonderful garbage! I recently rediscovered one of my own short stories and I don't mean to brag guys but I think it's pretty good: "Once upon a time, there was a rabbit and a mouse. They were best friends. Suddenly a fox came along. They were all best friends now! Until the fox ate them."
For some reason my DVR refuses to record Community so I missed it again. Parks and Rec was good though! I don't think Chris should have stayed on the show after his first season so I'm glad to see him go but it's sad that Ann left. Cougar Town was not very good this week, although the cameo from Busy Philipps's daughter was cute. Something that is weird about that show right now is that they just completely abandoned the "Grayson has a daughter" storyline AND the thing with Bobby's surf buddy becoming his girlfriend. Neither was the most thrilling part of the show, but you'd think they'd at least throw in a line like "Hey Grayson, how is your daughter?" "Oh she's great and definitely still exists, thanks for asking!" or "Hey Bobby, what happened to your girlfriend?" "Oh, she dumped me because I am basically homeless."
The "Thank God I Live Alone Now And Don't Have To Deal With Roommates Who Care About Sports" One bottle red wine
I didn't know Indira Varma was going to be on Game of Thrones! I will always see her as the Caroline Bingley character in Bride and Prejudice though.
