Have you listened to both? Buck 65′s is more of a continuation of an idea (or the second part if you will) than an alternate version. This, it seems, is logically evidenced by the title AND the length of the songs, respectively. Borrowing the cliche “come on hipsters!!” comment from any number of other articles on this blog is just lazy and uncreative.

Jenkins lyrical prowess or lack thereof aside. Kevin Cadogan’s guitar work on the debut far outshine anything put forth by any member, or output in general of Smashmouth or Snatchbox 20
oh I care kevin. but i care about the band and THEIR music, not about you trying to have a solo jerk off session about the good old days when ra ra riot was better because of this or that reason. i do not care about that. it adds nothing to the discussion or my appreciation for their music. the drummer is not coming back and the album’s already out. write your senator a letter if you want change, otherwise write in your diary and learn how to use quotation marks.

Love this band, don’t say that too often. They played a great show at The Casbah in San Diego. He’s a crooner.

I’m all for zach and the boys doing whatever the fuck they want, if it raises awareness. He might come off with more credibility if he wasn’t doing the coke wipe/pinch every twenty seconds though….
I agree, the uptempo miracle pop of the first one is certainly absent on go around numero uno, i’m a patient man though and listen one very rarely gets the job done
