I enjoy The National, Sufjan and Arcade Fire (and am most excited for the new LCD album), but just can’t figure out how people are still listening to Vampire Weekend, Beach House, Of Montreal, and The Decemberists (The Decemberists? Really???).

At this point, I would argue Phoenix is already more popular than Animal Collective.
This is the worst list I’ve seen. I like Arctic Monkeys and Muse, but those new albums suck…especially Arctic Monkeys. Can’t speak for Kasabian since I didn’t even know they had a new album out (nor do I care). And seriously, Green Day? U2? I didn’t think anyone liked the new U2 outside of Rolling Stone magazine.
