“cute” or “sweet” as this may be, I will never ever like Feist. I am so tired of all these “random indie artists” getting so much attention for such boring tunes. sorry. I wouldn’t want my child to have everything dumbed-down for them, musically…
gorgeous video. they always have such great ideas, whether or not anyone has “thought of” doing a music video in this sort of way. I doubt Radiohead were competing for first prize of anything. the video to me is sort of creepy, though… it suits the song. which is not creepy. one of my favourites off the album.
there’s always gonna be Radiohead haters out there… they all say the same thing. iknowwhatyouarebutwhatami etc.
it’s hard to not be jealous of such a brilliant band.
“indie rock” or not… she just sounds completely soulless when she sings. I don’t at all like her voice, and maybe that’s what makes her so “special” doing her music thing.
sorry. just seems like another wealthy actor trying to do music because they have the money/connections, etc. fair enough. just don’t like her sound at all.
