Even without those, I don't see a point.
Where does this stupid notion that anti-capitalists need to live in the woods come from?
Does he also have a black friend?
You forgot to inform us that you also aplied sarcasm.
Is this fucking 4chan? Really?
Yeah, all three of you seem to have problems communicating.
Dude you might be right but this reads like a Youtube comment. (“talent” lmao)
Why would anyone want to "rise above" the racial issues surrounding its context, when they are the core of the issue? Unless I didn't understand what you mean.
Maybe Jack White really does think he’s the first person to play the blues.
People who use the term "pc". Ugh...
Pronunciation would be es-ha-tos, means last, ultimate in greek.
Yep, it's great stuff. I can see this being my favourite metal album of the year, even with the overwhelming number of metal albums I really enjoyed.
Anyone can give a non-spotify link? Also, are they going to release of video for the song, or did I imagine that?
"acoustic tough-guy stoner-rock" haha, in that category Scott "Wino" Weinrich's solo acoustic stuff is pretty cool too
Also it seems weird no one has mentioned Saul Williams yet, I think there is some definite influence.
I have an explanation for that. Since the new voting system was set up, I am asked to login to Stereogum every day, when before that seldom happened. So I guess most people can't be bothered to login just to upvote a comment.
Hmmm, is it me or are Stereogum commenters prone to alcoholism?
The Ghostface Killah & Adrian Younge album is quality, I can't stop listening. I'll probably like this album too.
She was a woman that called Nelson Mandela a terrorist and was best friends with dictators. What is tasteless is praising her.
was it deleted, what did it say?
I'm sure Stereogum will correct it now that they have this information.
The Coup made a great album too!
Your argmument is reinforced by the fact that her name is in fact Ruth Radelet!
probably my favourite ep of the year.
TNGHT could have been on the list.
I mostly listen to the doom/sludge/stoner/psychedelic side of metal and this year, apart from those on the list above, I really enjoyed the releases from Witch Mountain, Saint Vitus, Ufomammut (the second one), Black Moth (The Killing Jar), Royal Thunder, the Elder EP, Conan, as well as the collection of b-sides from Kylesa.
Nah, it was actually a great album.
Album : Dirty Projectors - Swing Lo Magellan Crush : Ruth Radelet from Chromatics
Haha, I just read the review on the Quietus. They seem to hate M&S more than anyone who commented above.
Yeah, that's not true. They got a deal relatively quickly, but "formed via sony"? That doesn't even make sense. As for the injustice thing, how do you know?, you don't seem to know a lot about the band either.
I really love this band. This album is one of the best producted albums there have been, impressive sound quality. For me it's a tie between this album and The Battle of Los Angeles.
The Coup’s "Sorry To Bother You" is album of the week for me, but Neil Young doesn't dissapoint.
The mere concept of "the greatest country that’s ever existed" is very naive and simple minded though.
