I loved this album, the criticism it received was a joke. Too much hypocrisy in the industry, and a lot of Cribbing Ideas, Glad Handing and Basically Following the Leader.
How did ALL of those reviews say bad things about a really good album… And now the reviewers are returning to say, “well, you know, we didn’t think about…” Come The Fuck On.

How about instead of hopping on the trend that says what something Is or Isn’t or how much it Sucks or Rawks, we actually CONSIDER THE FUCKING ART AND JUDGE IT ON ITS’ CONTENT as opposed to, ya know, reading what RS and Pitchfork said and making sure we hit our marks?

This kinda insanity is half the reason I never bothered to be a journo – so much pressure to say something untrue because someone with money tells you what to say.

ENJOY!

Awww, this was tender and sweet, a good match for this bittersweet song

Does his voice sound too weak for what he’s trying to do, or am I not getting it? Entirely possible I am not getting it. He does well with all kinds of synths and guitars and drums wailing, but with a sparser more minimalist feel (an attempt to pump up his voice strength in the overall mix/feel?) it hurts to hear him strain.

Not a bad Jam, but this ‘Easy Bear’ seemed like it was going somewhere it never found. And upon listening to 2 tracks from Hesta’s EP, I am glad to hear Easy Bear didn’t wander into the rest of Hesta Prynn’s Rip-Rop-Rippity-Rap Woods.

I guess I’m not deep enough into this scene, but this soundes like a slowed 80s Chicago House….

I think Gabe Puts up these Cross Sterogum/Videogum Posts with the comment closed on VG so the VG Monsters can come post witty, pithy comments here. You know, just so SG doesn’t feel left out.

I guess you would have been happier if it were illegal Mexicans Depicted being taken out of LA (Or AZ?) and shoved thru a mine filled border to be sent back to their country?

Wasn’t trying to put you in a box homie, you did that to yourself with your affiliations and choices.

Also wasn’t attempting to single you out, just hoping to elucidate the reasons behind your resonance. (and your Intrusive FB CONNECT feature happened to help me nicely)

It was pretty awful. I am not a fan of MGMT, nor am I a hater. But after these performances, I wonder why anyone likes them. “Congrats! You discovered the Beach Boys! CULTURE”

Of course (No Offense, Tim) the dude being offended by the use of American Men In Black is a Sarah Palin supporter, so, take from that what you will.

Take offense to whatever you’d like but Know that ALL governments have blood of innocents on their hands and the US has a disproportionate amount of blood, particularly since they’ve been the hegemonic power lo the last three decades. Nevermind all of the Nation Building and Revolution fomenting the US has encouraged/created since the inceptions of the FBI and CIA.

He didn’t work with dre out of a desire to sell records, he wanted to work with an artist he enjoyed. Artistic integrity IS the argument, clearly you don’t know much about Trent Reznor (And inasmuch as it’s laid out in the article and you still choose to refute his version perhaps you are best satisfied doing or listening to something else)
