That movie was actually filmed at a high school that I work at... one day I came in and Miley was blocking the entrance to my office, all whored out in her cool high school kid garb. I ended up having to wait for about half an hour until they were done getting her sentence or two out of her, as her time was too valuable to wait to move the gear for me to do actual work. I was not loling either.

Actually, everyone can't! The nearest amusement park to me has started limiting the max height of riders to 6'6" on some of the bigger coasters. While this certainly won't affect poor little Dave, I am now robbed of the option to wait in line for hours to cram myself into tiny little cars and go fast over hills. My daily driver simply does not allow such speeds nor the thrill of waiting in lines.

Did you by any chance go to Michigan State? Because they told my tour group the same thing about one of our (we had 3!) 7-11s. If you did not go to Michigan State, then I would have to guess that one of our tour groups lied, and that makes me sad.
I'm way late, but here goes - I'll be brief
The regulars are great! Maybe sometimes the inside jokes last a little too long (the frank CSI thing probably has, but I still laugh every damn time - thus my office mate probably hates it) so basically this comment has no point and keep on doing your thing, all.
Lately it seems some posts are just there to fill space (here's a trailer, it looks ok, that's it) - the writing and opinions are the best part of this site - everyone seems to have pretty great taste and I'd like to read more about it, not just see a dumping ground for that the crap is out there.
Sometimes too much "hey this is terrible" stuff? As I stated last, those involved in the site seem to have great taste in things - and there's too much crap on the internet, which is posted everywhere - the good stuff is hard to find. Hopefully I made some sense, although being on the 3rd page it probably won't be read anyways... just throwing it out there.
I actually think the Thursday night TV thread is the one place gifs are overused... Some of them are cramazing, eg Ron Swanson spinning to avoid the citizen in his circle desk. But once you're just capturing a gif of a one liner I don't see the point, can't you just type it if it needs to be posted?
I guess I phrased my comment poorly, I'm certainly happy we got him. Just that some of the jubilation struck me as a little over the top and might reflect poorly on us. By now it's a point that's been made many a time, so I'm going to stop at that. But yeah, I agree that it's a good thing, as are cat roombas.
I find it somewhat fitting that I watched Obama's speech on the same old 20" CRT TV that I watched the towers fall on in college (because I'm old and was already in bed and said TV has now been relegated to the bedroom). But I also find the amount of celebrating and waving of "ROT IN HELL!" headlines to be only slightly less tasteless than the Palestinians celebrating after 9/11. Kinda asking for retaliation by doing so, are we not?
