Wow what a crazy turn of events! Amazing what one month will do to a guy.
can we give rubberjohnny an award? and then name the award after him so when people beat him at having the best comments we can give them the rubberjohnny best comments award?
Every time I put on Eskimo Snow I end up listening to it like 3 times in a row because it’s so good. I don’t think I could pick a favourite Why? record but definitely Eskimo Snow isn’t any worse than the others. They’re just different records.
This is the first track from her that I REALLY like.
I kind of hate her but the music’s good.

I really like “New York Cops” but it’s probably because I Heems rules and I’ve never actually heard anything off the original album. Why haven’t I listened to this album before? No idea.
And yet when I was in high school the kids who listened to “metal” (or what they considered metal.. a lot more “male energy” than the bands named in the article I guess, whatever) were the ones with long straightened hair wearing women’s pants. Whoah maybe power in music isn’t directly related to how loud it is.. an absurd idea probably.
I like both those songs and might prefer them to Dinner Bells and Same Ghost Every Night. Apologies was amazing, truly, but what Wolf Parade evolved into was equally as amazing in it’s own right. I don’t think the two albums can even be compared.
This is sad. But with Spencer and Dan having side projects that are just as good if not better, it’s not that sad. I haven’t really found anything by Spencer I haven’t loved to death except for Snakes Got A Leg, I guess.

There’s no way anyone in manufacturing would have let something go to print without being 100% sure they could legally use the image. I doubt the record label would have allowed it to happen either.

I actually like Ghost Pressure and Lover more than the KEXP songs. But all 5 songs are amazing, anyway.
I was there, like 2 feet from the stage. Amazing show.
Anyways, the new stuff sounds awesome. it’s like all the good parts of both Apologies and Mt. Zoomer. Combined. Beyonce and Caveosapian are my favourites so far.
I’m going to see Wolf Parade in a couple months but I wish it was Sunset Rubdown. Dan Boeckner creeps me out.
