People minding their own business and those with grievances taking them to the proper channels, not the fucking roiling mass of idiocy known as the Internet.

Oh, I think there's plenty of demons out there, and people who make comments like this that imply their own moral purity are probably among them.

Innocent until proven guilty. Somebody who was let go from a record company and whose career is going nowhere decides 8 years later to get some publicity for herself at any cost? Gira also did a song called "Raping a Slave." Does that mean he's guilty? This is more Internet cyber-mob emotionalism and that's all it is at this point.

Why? Nothing has been proven -- this could be resentment over a musical career that went nowhere. If she took Gira to court and he was found guilty, then I'd agree with you. But what are the statute of limitations on this? Didn't she wait until they were up? All we've really got here is more Internet cyber-mob emotionalism and gossip. The person making the accusation certainly got some publicity for her music -- maybe that was the point.

The Internet has become our culture' version of the urban mob in Ancient Rome --- people deciding on guilt or innocence based on emotion rather than logic and evidence.

Irony isn't cool -- it's the music of emotional cowards. I love DCD and this is a great album.
