So to be serious, few of the ones I could suggest have been translated to English. But 101 Reykjavík gives an alright description of local musicians’ living conditions.

I am a big ol’ Björk fan, but the socialist in me thinks this project leaves a huge mass of people (some of them possibly Björk fans) at a disadvantage… I don’t know… it seems slightly… unfair? or maybe inegalitarian (does that mean ‘elitist’) to make large chunks of your artwork inaccessible to people under a certain income bracket? Or is this maybe akin to selling 2.000$ VIP tickets at your shows, where ‘better access to the artist’ is provided?
Still, I guess using the same logic folks could never explore the possibilities of new and exciting technologies. I like thinking about this. It’s fun.
