It’s hard finding any big qualms with this list (although I woulda liked to see Deerhunter higher). Glad to see VW so high though, I had kinda written them off after Contra, but Modern Vampires of the City is just fantastic. As others have said Local Natives, Youth Lagoon, Baths, and Jai Paul all would have been at least in the discussion for me.
Voted for Lace Curtains-The Garden Of Joy And The Well Of Loneliness despite it having less than 0 percent chance of winning. Hope Japandroids and Cloud Nothings get a nice voter turnout also.
Abbey Road is the one I have listened to the most so I’ll choose that one.
Das Racist (followed closely by by Cloud Nothings).
And the Hazy Sea

Great calls on Harlem and Darwin Deez Stereogum. Stereogum commenters mentioning Future Islands, Moonface, Big K.R.I.T.& Tokyo Police Club are also doing great. But why does no one ever mention Dr. Dog’s Shame, Shame?
Man, oh man, 2010 is completely loaded with great music, looking forward to this album.
