I feel like this backfired way too quickly for all of them. Which probably serves them right. No matter “how great they are” as musicians all of these marketing movements have come out in a terrible time in the States, making it seem like they’re taking advantage of the recent political movements trivializing the idea of an revolutionary uprising.
It’s just pretty sad and… somehow even wrong. And I feel like even if you’re not interested in politics or stuff like that, you shouldn’t change your twitter picture unless you’re one of the artists directly involved in this thing, or, I don’t know, their relatives.

I admire though the way Madge continued the show after her fall. It’s wasn’t enough to keep interested tho.

Oh dear, I imagine how frustrating it must be, but as has constantly proven through out it’s existence:
Sometimes you’re not the only one who came out with the ‘greatest band name in all history’

Agreed, it’s not half-bad as some people are making it sound, sounds like a nice cover/karaoke version of the song.
However, I do find pretty annoying the celphone thing.

God, I don’t particularly care how much she wants to talk about her sex life, but I think that’s totally fine. Society has made such a big deal about it, but ultimately it’s not a terrible thing to talk to.
Which makes me kinda upset about your commentary, and about all these comments, is that you’re somehow saying that “she’s looking for” that kinda attention by saying those things when they’re completely unrelated.
You cannot justify sexual assaults by the amount of words someone has said about her sex life. It’s like justifying it by a girl’s skirt length on the moment she was sexually assaulted.
I think this is very preoccupying, and should be addressed more carefully.

Also I want to say that the first time I heard Vespertine I felt like I was allowed to hear something precious, warm and intimate. Like the most hidden feelings that someone could ever have… and those feelings eventually became mine.

I happen to believe that, what happens to Björk fans with Vespertine and Homogenic it’s pretty similar to what happens to Radiohead fans with Kid A and Ok Computer.
For most people (I’d dare to say that the majority of people) Ok Computer is Radiohead’s masterpiece, the same thing happens to Homogenic (actually, it’s a perfect record, I think almost no one can deny that) However Kid A it’s very often left apart by some fans, when for some other fans (like me) it’s considered the greatest Radiohead record. The same thing goest for Vepsertine, for some Björk fans (like me) Vespertine truly is her greatest work while is left apart for some others.

But that’s just matter of taste and opinion.

You just can’t even compare Kyary Pamyu Pamyu to Psy, she’s wonderful. But Korean music has nothing to do with Japanese music anyway, besides of the two of them being Asian.

But anyway, I’m still happy to see Kyary in this site, haha.

Funny how the ones on top are the ones that are always complaining about how illegal downloads are ruining their finances (like Elton John or U2).

You’re not thinking of her as the amazing character she is. She could easily be the protagonist of an awesome dark film about stardom, this stuff is so incredible awesome.
