Micaiah C. Burkey
Flatlander is still in, correct? Two Heavens hits like a truck.
Damn. I can’t even fathom such a loss.
American Tune hands down.
I’m so proud of these two, representing my hometown. Black Out Days is my Autumn jam.
Mayonnaise for sure.
I know it’s a bit telegraphed, but that new My Bloody…That and Kurt Vile are tied for me right now.
Fossegrim for sure. Doesn’t get much better than that.
This review pretty much summed up how I feel when this thing plays. Great write up Tom.
This band just keeps getting better and better.
I tried, Lockett Pundt…I tried. Other than that great list.
To be honest I came into this with the lowest of expectations. But damn, last time I ever doubt Sufjan.
Despite this mans abrasive nature, I do have to side with the Sarah Barthel love. Saratoga Springs NY represent!
I’m the opposite. I was into their debut single, and the show they played in Albany, NY blew me away with it’s raw energy. But the LP itself wasn’t really rubbing me the right way. Awesome live though.
Just imagine Kanye’s reaction looking at this list.
Oh crap I totally forgot about OFF! !!!
Although I voted for Cloud Nothings, Lotus Plaza really stole the show this year. Lockett’s shoegazey pop really resonated with me. It’s still my nighttime driving music of choice.
Wow I almost forgot about that, thanks for reminding me. That album is my jam.
The White Album by far. The variety on that lp blew my mind the first time I head it.
I’m not even going to give them the satisfaction of a page view.
Annie Clark Mark Foster fanfic can someone make this happen please.
I mean to each his own but it baffles me why this site is almost consistently on Cash Moneys nuts.
that cloud nothings shirt is sexy
