If I knew how to play a horn even a bit, I'd want to do this. It just sounds fun. Music is supposed to be fun, remember?
Bandcamp introduced a dedicated mobile site recently which is actually pretty satisfying. I'm sure you've probably seen it, but still, it's worth mentioning. http://blog.bandcamp.com/2012/08/20/every-bandcamp-site-is-now-an-awesome-mobile-site/
Certainly not their best, but definitely mid-range, i'd say.
I don't understand why people don't dig 4:13 Dream. That's a great album.
Nineteen Hundred & Eighty-Five
Just bought a promo copy of the album that mysteriously appeared in the used section at Everyday Music in Portland. It is very good. I've spun through it about three times and it definitely feels like an album I'd like to get to know more. It feels like a logical next step but brings back a lot of the old flair that a lot of people have missed. Well done Dandys, well done.
I'm excited! It seems like they really took the positive fan reaction to This Is The Tide to heart on these songs so far especially with Zia and Fathead writing a lot on it.
Really really dig!ging this track. I was iffy on the other one at first but it has really grown on me. I'm hoping the second track is kind of a rocker because this one builds and builds but never quite breaks a rawkin second track would make dreams come true. woot!

Spaceboy. Seriously, when the full band kicks in with the mellotron is one of the most enchanting musical moments I have ever heard.
.And the Hazy Sea (the solo after the silence towards the end kills every time)
