Why do people feel the need to defend Carney? Every comment I've ever heard from him is shit-talking or just something negative. He's not a great drummer (I'd say the Black Keys' talent is 90% Auerbach). Why do people even like this guy?
There's always air in your blood (lungs breathe oxygen, RED blood cells carry it through body). Did I miss something about blue blood cells in Bio 100?
I agree. "Here Comes the Night Time" and "Supersymmetry" are the best on that album, after listening to it more and more those are the ones that stuck.
As a fan of hip hop in general, I'll say that members of Odd Future (including earl and hodgy) tweeted their condolences this morning, even saying how influential MCA was to their music.
Sooooooo there you have it, final word.
From what he says on twitter, I think this is less a publicity stunt and more of a personal thing, that Tyler wanted to make 8 videos before his 21st b-day (today). So good for him for achieving his dick joke-wrapped dreams.
It's all subjective, I wouldn't place Goblin in the same category as Bon Iver's album, but these guys are talented as fuck for how old they are. And the message is easy for people their age to relate to. And if you think that message is raping pregnant girls and burning schools, you are clearly missing the point.
it's true, and this might as well confirm it, everything Danger Mouse touches turns to gold. Black Keys are already incredible, and they work harder than almost every other band as big as them.
Put those two together, sprinkle on a little Bob Odenkirk Saul-ing it up, and you've got one of the best albums of the year.
