I’ve always liked the other side of Conor than what most everyone else likes, Digital Ash is my favorite album. My top faves are: I Believe In Symmetry, Easy/Lucky/Free, Take It Easy (Love Nothing), Method Acting and From A Balance Beam.
I also love Desaparecidos, so there.

Very old school Bjork fan here, from the first time I heard COLD SWEAT by the Sugarcubes I was hooked on her.
I’m glad most of the comments are in agreement with me that Vespertine deserves more love.
It’s definitely a grower, but when it finally clicks it’s heavenly. for quite a while I thought nothing she could do after Homogenic could compare.
My favorite album by a mile. UNDO actually makes me cry with joy sometimes.

Gotta love how Brian is repping his amazing old band’s shirt, he knows he’s the shit.

I can’t believe I had to scroll almost to the bottom of the page before someone mentioned Alec Eiffel, amazing song.

Um, is it just me or isn’t that Phil Selway from Radiohead playing drums?

Since when do Coldplay support auto theft? Did I miss something?

Fat Girl sounds a lot like The Smiths and I wouldn’t believe Fragile Friend was Radiohead at all if it weren’t for the picture of saxophones right above it because it doesn’t sound like Thom at all.

Parts of “I found this star on the ground” sound like something off “Dots and Loops” by Stereolab, especially the jazzy drumming.

When Pat Smear walks in is frickin’ hi-larious!!!

I do agree with everything Orbital said EXCEPT that this new album sounds amazing to me so far.
For me these 3 songs are a return to the Vesperine era which is my favorite album by her, it’s very mellow with laid back beats and textures.

One of my favorite bands covering one of my favorite bands.
They did a much better job with Bjork’s “All is full of love”, the poppy energy is missing from this one.

Silly people. When will they learn that it’s not possible to cover Bjork and not sound like an amateur.

Britta was so much better singing for The Belltower, her stuff with Dean Wareham is sooooo boring.
