Bought Bought Bought…ouch
I don’t think it’s necessarily as cut and dry as people are saying, “A james blake backing track”. There’s an 80s undercurrent similar to some of the darker Talk Talk stuff here that’s prevalent on most of Bon Ivers second album (i’m thinking Calgary). I think you’d be hard pressed to find a drum fill so glam as this in any James Blake song, along with the keyboard stab and the piano sound. I think it’s testament to how well done this track is, that i initially thought it sounded more Justin than James.
Fuck you and your “trends”. You do realise it’s this exact kind of attitude that is propagating the homogenisation of music in general?
Man, i was pissed off at this list, and then i got pissed off at the comment section. Where the fuck has artistic credibility gone?
I’m going for Panda Bear- “Comfy In Nautica” Sped up…

There seems to be a very strange difference between what qualifies as dance music in america and england. Minimal Techno is all the rave in London and the suchlike at the minute while it seems to be “Dubstep” (I am avoiding the whole argument of Brostep and Future Garage and the like) that’s taking a firmer position in American dance culture. Which is a real shame, because there’s some amazing stuff coming from all the Brain-Feeder crew.
