Totally understand you’re love for the Quintets, but I do have a soft spot for some of those Quartet recordings. I mean come on, you’ve got either Art Blakey or Max Roach on drums depending on the session. Not bad.

Nice, somebody corrected a minute before me. I agree with Slothdrop up there about the Channel Pressure though. Being such a huge fan of that album, there are little moments in Anxiety when I hear a quick pause or keyboard line that put me right back into Channel Pressure land and it’s super satisfying.
Ford & Lopatin album was called Channel Pressure by the way.
