The song is mediocre, but the video is funny. She's making fun of herself and showing some actually amazing dancers in the process. And if Earl Sweatshirt (dumbest name ever) wants to see people perpetuating black stereotypes, he should watch a few rap videos.

Of course we understood her point. She's bored with feminism because she has no fucking appreciation for the fact that she wouldn't feel free to do whatever she likes, or in fact be free to do whatever she likes, if it weren't for the history of feminism in her culture and society. What an ungrateful cretin. And what total insensitivity to the plight of women who don't have the freedoms she does, simply because they are women.

"I’m more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what’s going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities." You mean conversations you would have been excluded from even just 40 years ago, Lana, because you are a woman? "My idea of a true feminist is a woman who feels free enough to do whatever she wants." No, dear, that's not a what a feminist is; that's what feminism enables. The women who feel that way, feel so because feminists before her spoke up on her behalf. How totally fucking ungrateful she is. It would all be a bit more 'interesting' I'm sure, if she didn't have the rights she does. And it should be more interesting to her simply because there are so many women in the world who still don't.

Of course only transgender actors should play transgender characters. Just like Cate Blanchett shouldn't have played Bob Dylan, or Neil Patrick Harris a straight womaniser, And angels everywhere want to know how the heck Tilda Swinton got cast as Gabriel when it was obvious a real angel should have gotten the role. It's acting. You don't have to be in real life what you are portraying on screen. Would anyone argue that a transgender actor shouldn't play cisgender characters? Of course not.

If people would stop being offended on Beyonce and Rihanna's behalf for a moment, they'd realise the comments she made were accurate. Both women do rely on hypersexualisation to sell their music and (in the case of Beyonce particularly) they don't need to.

Better Khaleesi after a strong, loving woman than Sansa after an insipid bitch. Anyone who names their boy Joffrey should have their child taken away by social services. But yeah, Daenerys is a beautiful name.

Exactly. The band was named after the song/album, not the other way round.

So I guess Gabe hasn't yet caught up with the completely excellent biopic, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, about the life of Ian Dury, starring one Andy Serkis in the main role?

Lost in Austen is not really a retelling or a modern take on Pride and Prejudice. It's more like a spin-off or even fanfic. And yes, as Funky Brewster commented, it was super cheesy.

Agreed. Also, they talked on air about their support of their writers and they constantly pointed out the parts of the show that would be substandard until their writers returned. They constantly supported the writer's strike in this way and it felt very genuine as a viewer, not just some superficial attempt to pretend support. MacFarlane can just fuck right off.

My prediction is that season 5 will open with a funeral, which will then turn out to NOT be Tara's. There will be lots of scenes of relevant loved ones wearing black and crying and they'll wait until the last possible moment to reveal Tara, alive and well. *sigh*

Given Chloe Moretz training in gymnastics and ballet, she's probably been preparing for years for a role like that. I think a less deserving example might have made your peeve more credible. She IS pretty damn kick-ass.

It's totally worth your time, as long as you don't take it too seriously and just roll with the crazy. That is, it's like a magical version of Melrose Place.
