I just like the looseness of it. It's a good summertime bbq type record. There isn't much depth but it's a nice listen in the way something like tom petty or the traveling wilbury's are. Also I think the two contributions from Jason Lytle were better than anything on the new Grandaddy record.

HBO would have never cared about EODM, U2 would have never cared about them. Eagles would have never associated themselves with U2. Everybody profiting and boosting their exposure as the result of a tragedy. Josh Homme might as well get some more press while he's at it as well..... Pivoting a tragedy for your own gain is kind of shitty no matter how much charity is involved. They are in the entertainment business. This is a profitable move for them.

The writer of this piece's tone is just as whiny as the director he is calling out for being whiny. Also, stop defending these stupid celebrities blindly, they are crap, he is ultimately right. Who cares if people paid him to attend, it's not his fault there are idiots willing to participate in any gofundme or kickstarter. If the VMAs sucked who cares how you got there. I for one am glad he calls out these entitled assholes for what they are. There aren't enough people railing against this type of excess and bullshit.
